formula instruction
A jury instruction intended to be complete statement of law upon which jury may base verdict. Harvey v. Aceves, 115 Cal.App. 333, 1 P.2d 1043, 1045. An instruction which advises the jury that under certain facts therein hypothesized their verdict should be for one of the parties. McFatridge v. Harlem Globe Trotters, 69 N.M. 271, 365 P.2d 918, 922.
